In 2020, Hall Contracting took on the Ewan Maddock Dam Upgrade project valued at $24 million. As part of our services, we provided transport and crane lifting for the project. The upgrade was divided into two stages, with Seqwater leading the charge on Stage 2A in March 2020. This phase involved reinforcing the dam’s embankment walls and enhancing the recreation area. Despite an initial timeframe of 18 months, Seqwater completed the job an impressive 6 months ahead of schedule. Nationwide’s range of equipment and skilled staff were a key savings on this project.
